As part of National Careers Week, our Year 7 students had an inspiring opportunity to meet professionals from a wide range of industries. Selected students took part in engaging discussions, discovering what different careers involve and the skills needed for success. The event aimed to broaden students’ career horizons and encourage them to think about their own future pathways.
A key focus of the event was developing our school’s character strength of being involved. Our visitors were full of praise for the students, highlighting their thoughtful questions, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Students engaged inquisitively, showing a real eagerness to learn more about different career journeys. “This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to build confidence, develop curiosity, and see the real-world value of their learning. Their insightful participation was a credit to them and to our school,” said Mr. Greenshields, Deputy Headteacher.
