On Thursday 13th February, Ponteland High School teamed up with the Newcastle Falcons Foundation to run a project rugby festival for girls in Y7, Y8 and Y9 in the run up to the Women’s Rugby World Cup kicking off in the North East in August. The festival hosted a coaching camp for Y7 students and year group festival format matches for Y8 and 9. The festival saw over 180 girls from 7 different schools taking part, including 25 of our Year 7 girls.
