Congratulations to the six students who were successful at U16 County Rugby trials. The girls have worked so hard to develop themselves as players and have been rewarded with Northumberland Honours. Ahead of the Women’s Rugby Union World Cup in England next year, it is fantastic to see the youth game growing at a rapid rate and the standard improving year on year. Girls school rugby practice takes place every Wednesday from 3.25-4.25. Get yourself along and you might find yourself representing the county in the future.
