TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is the practice of teaching English to non-native speakers in countries where English is not the primary language. TEFL programs equip teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively teach English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills to learners of various ages and backgrounds. It is a popular career choice for individuals looking to travel, work abroad, or contribute to global education by helping others improve their English proficiency. TEFL certifications are often required for teaching positions in international schools, language institutes, or online platforms.
Some of our Year 12 students completed a two day TEFL course before February and this week received their certificates to prove they are qualified and able to teach English as a foreign language. This is an impressive achievement and we are very proud of their hard work!
